AIA Continuing Education: LEDs and Retail Lighting

Retail Lighting serves many functions. Key aspects of the ANSI/IES RP-2-20, IES RP-10-20 & DOE resources will be explored, with a focus on the Three ‘A’s of retail lighting, which are:
- Atmosphere: Enhancing the store’s brand and image and providing a successful customer experience
- Attraction/Accenting: Enticing and guiding customers to and throughout the space.
- Appraisal: Providing effective point-of-sale evaluations to result in a sale. Understanding and complying with Lighting Energy Codes (ASHRAE and IECC). Layers of lighting in a retail environment, along with the latest in lighting technology. Lighting controls and the IoT in retail lighting.
Attendees completing this 1 hour live course will be awarded 1 LU/HSW.
